This is your basic can twirl used in Saidi and Lebanese assaya dances. Holding the can about one hand's width about the base, open your grip to allow the cane to fall vertically forward. Try to avoid allowing the cane to splay out to the side. When the cane has fallen immediately regrip the cane to propel it back up, following the path of the circle to the back. Your wrist powers the motion.
